Be it remembered that this cause came on to be heard before Chancellor T. M. McConnel on this 1 day of May 1895 upon the pleadings exhibits and proof in the course from all of which it appears that complainant S. H. Schrudder as the administrator of the estate of Harmon Schrudder deceased sold and conveyed to complainant Mrs. Maude H. Fox subject to the ratification and confirmation of the Chancery Court of Hamilton County Tennessee for the price of $175.00 the following described real estate on Walden's Ridge in the (?)16th Civil District of Hamilton County Tennessee described as
follows. Beginning on a stone comes to a five acre tract of land bought by F. M. Gardinhire (?) of A. M. McLean besides their small debts amounting in the aggregate to about $40.00 and the cost of the administration of said estate and it appearing that there is no personal property belonging to said estate, no reference will be had for that purpose, but that said land is the only estate of the said Harmon Schrudder left and that it is liable for the payment of his debts and will have to be
sold for that purpose. And it further appearing from the proof on file that the said sum of $175.00 the amount proposed to be given for said land or parcel of ground by the said Maude H. Fox and for which the administrator sold the same to her is the fair value of said land and is as much or more
than it would bring if sold by the Master _ __ _ _ _ _ a decree of sale for the purpose of paying the debts of the estate of the said Harmon Schrudder and that it is to the best interest of the minor defendants as well as the other heirs of the said Harmon Schrudder deceased that said sale be ratified and confirmed by the court.
