Miss Parker Dies;

Worked for Railroad



    Miss Margaret Parker, 75, retired Chattanooga business woman, died Friday afternoon in a local hospital. Miss Parker lived at 4410 St. Elmo Ave.

    At her retirement last August, Miss Parker had been employed by the Nashville, Chattanooga & St. Louis Railway for 55 years. She had been a member of the St. Elmo Church of Christ for 18 years.

    She is survived by a sister, Mrs. P. W. Stonestreet, Chattanooga; three nephews, Dr. M. P. Stonestreet, Anaheim, Calif., H. L. Stonestreet, Midland, Tex., and John M. Parker, Chattanooga; eight nieces, Miss Mary Elizabeth Parker, Miss Louise Parker, Miss Mary L. Parker, Mrs. Howard Hale, Mrs. Cranston Pearce, Mrs. Leon Hale, Mrs. Gladys S. Davis and Mrs. C. B. Gill, all of Chattanooga. There are 11 great-nieces and nephews.

    Funeral plans will be announced. The body is at the National Funeral Home in West Chapel.
