This indenture made and entered between T. H. Condray of the State of Tennessee & Hamilton County of the one part, & David Tittle of the State of Ala. & Randolph County of the other part, Witnesseth, that for and in consideration of the sum of Seven Thousand Dollars to him in hand paid at and before the delivery of this presents, the said T. H. Condray doth grant bargain sell and convey unto the said David Tittle a certain tract or parcel of land situate, lying and being in Hamilton County and State of Tennessee, containing three hundred and twenty three acres more or less in the Ocoee District known and distinguished as the Wilhoite tract, commencing with Zeriah Redmonds land cornering on the bank of the Tennessee River, thence running of a north west "course" through the school Section of land upon the side of Racoon Mountain, thence running to Sam Wellerance land "Was Sack sons" land down the river thence to the beginning.
To have and to hold said tract or parcel of land to him the said David Tittle his heirs, executors or administrators and assigns forever, in fee simple and the said T. H. Condray doth bind himself to warrant and defend the rite and title to said tract or parcel of land against himself his heirs executors and administrators and "gainst" the claims of all persons.
In testimony hereof of said Condray have hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal this 22nd day of July 1864.

I, S. W. Dunn Justice of the Peace hereby certify E. M. Boyd and C. S. Etchorof subscribing witnesses the foregoing conveyance known to me appeared before me this day and being sworn states that T. H. Condray the grantor in the conveyance voluntarily executed the same in these presents on the day that the name bears date.  That we attested the name in the presence of the grantor given under my hand this 16th day of October 1866.
