Maude Hickey Teague

TEAGUE, MRS. MAUDE HICKEY, 80, wife of John L. Teague died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Edna Wall on Mission Ridge Road, Rossville, GA at 12:55 o'clock Saturday morning. Mrs. Teague lived in Bradley County for 40 years. She moved to Hamilton County in 1920. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church near Cleveland, Tenn. Her survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Lennie Dobbs, Mrs. Winnie Johnston and Mrs. Verna Norman all of Chattanooga, and Mrs. Edna Wall, Rossville, GA: three sons D. E. Kimsey and Thomas Teague, Chattanooga and John Teague Cleveland, TN; one stepson Charles Teague, Rossville, GA: twenty eight grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon at Bethel Baptist Church on the Old Chattanooga Pike between McDonald and Cleveland, Tenn. Interment in the Lea Cemetery, McDonald, Tenn. Pallbearers are grandsons, Norman Teague, Jack Wall, Richard Johnson, Edward Norman, Jack Kimsey and Charles Teague. The body is at the Funeral Home of J. Avery Bryan Company.
