  Information I have is that Patrick was born in Ireland, but emigrated to     

  the American colonies while still a boy.

  Sarah:

  Sarah's first husband was Robert McKemy/McKamey (b. abt 1740 Augusta Co. VA -

    d. 1775 Charleston, SC) and their children were:  John McKamey (b. abt 1764 -

    d. 1834); William McKamey (b. unk - d. unk); Robert McKamey (b. abt 1768 - d.

    1825); Andrew McKamey (b. May 1772 Augusta Co. VA - d. Dec 1852 Oliver       

    Springs, TN); and James McKamey (b. 1773 - d. unk).                          

    Sarah Jane may have also had a brother named Andrew Cunningham.

    Aaron purchased land in Knox County, TN on 21 Jul 1797, along with his       

    brothers John and Thomas Masterson.  Listed on the 1805 Roane County Tax     

    List, along with his brother Thomas Masterson.                               

    Lucinda:

    Lucy was still alive in November 1863 when Richard DeArmond died.            

        The DeArmond Cemetery is located near the intersection of Topside Road and   

        Alcoa Highway at what was once the old Masterson farm.  Aaron Burr Masterson 

        is probably buried there also.

      - age 1.                                                                      

      Volney:

      Family legend states that Volney died during the Civil War, along with his   

            son Monroe.  Volney served in James Morrow's company of Tennessee Mounted    

            Volunteers during the 2nd Seminole War.

            the Indian Removal 1836-7.  He served along with Daniel Ford and Edward Ford,

            probably his brothers.

      Served in James Morrow's Company of Tennessee Mounted Volunteers called out  

      for the protection of the Sabine Frontier in 1836 along with James Nelson,   

      David Nelson, Volney Willoughby, Boaz Ford, Daniel Ford, Edward Ford, and    

      Aaron Masterson.  Served as Captain, Company C, 5th Tennessee Volunteers     

      during the Civil War (promoted during the Battle of Resaca).                 

      Mary:

      No record of her death has been found; however, Monroe's pension was         

            discontinued in 1903.  Family lore has it that Mary was full-blood Indian,   

            probably Cherokee, but at this time no proof has been found to support that  

            claim.  She was also reported to have been a servant in the Masterson home   

            prior to Leatha Masterson's death.  She is buried next to Monroe, but there  

            is only a rock to mark the site.
